Stacy D. Gomez is a seasoned attorney with 20 years of experience representing clients across a wide range of legal matters. She is committed to providing compassionate, knowledgeable, and effective legal counsel to individuals and families navigating complex and often emotionally charged situations.


A native of West Monroe, Louisiana Mrs. Gomez earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe (formerly Northeast Louisiana University), and went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University in New Orleans.

Mrs. Gomez began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in New Orleans, where she spent her majority of time in Juvenile Court and developed strong litigation skills and a deep understanding of the justice system. She later served as in-house counsel for the Department of Social Services, advocating for the welfare of families and children throughout Louisiana.


Now in private practice, Mrs. Gomez focuses primarily on family law, including divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, and protective orders. She also serves as a Guardian ad Litem, Certified Mediator and Court Appointed Counsel, ensuring the voices and best interests of children are represented in court. 


Mrs. Gomez is licensed to practice law in both Louisiana and Virginia and is known for her hands-on approach, clear communication, and unwavering dedication to her clients. She approaches each case with professionalism, empathy, and a deep commitment to achieving the best possible outcome.
