Terena is a seasoned paralegal with over two decades of legal experience, specializing in personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and general civil litigation. She currently serves as a paralegal at A.E. Gómez, P.C. since April 2023, where she manages complex case calendars, coordinates court scheduling across jurisdictions, and assists in trial preparation and Guardian ad litem matters. Her work is defined by her precision, organizational leadership, and strong client communication.


Throughout her career, Terena has held key roles at several respected law firms. She has led initiatives to implement legal software systems such as CLIO and MyCase, streamlined internal workflows, and developed advertising strategies and client intake systems.

Terena holds an Associate in Applied Science in Paralegal Technology from Surry Community College, graduating with honors and making the President’s List. She also studied Office Systems Technology at both New River Community College and Wytheville Community College, consistently earning Dean’s List recognition.
